Possible new project: Sonic - Chaos Unleashed (Working title)

Well, after unwillingly seeing SEGA's newest disaster, namely a trailer of 'Sonic Unleashed' featuring that totally ridiculous werewolf Sonic crud, I thought why not expose my bit similar, yet imo still way better and more original idea.

Since (like always) this project won't be expected to come out for a while, I don't really wanna go into details, but here's the deal: the Chaos Emeralds are powerful and stuff, but they can pay off (or avenge if that's better) if they are used for the wrong goals. There is an ancient so called curse about this, regarding the Chaos Emeralds' dark powers which only the ancient echidna race knew, but since they are extincted (exclude Knuckles), this curse is forgotten.
One day, saving the day like usually, Sonic goes a bit far into the hero business, and uses the Chaos Emeralds' power (meaning: going Super Sonic) to finish off his enemy for sure (not sure if that will be Eggman, tho probably not). With this he unwillingly 'casts' the curse upon himself. The point of the curse is the following: if some1 uses the Chaos Emeralds to kill somebody, the Emeralds' will slowly take contol over the 'murederer's' mind and slowly drive him/her into madness: wanting to kill everyone, especially his/her loved ones, wreak havoc, live only for destruction. Nasty, huh? Oh, and one last thing: the curse can't be broken, it stays active till death...
In Sonic's case, it's only a matter of time before he goes Dark Sonic and starts to massacre his friends among others..Will they solve what is happening to Sonic? And even if they do, will they find a way to brake the curse after all? And all this in time? Or the world-renowned hero will become a world-renowned threat? Who knows..

PS: With a little creativity, this could be easily turned into a 3D Sonic game, not that it will ever happen..

Well even if you can't, you'll have to wait, since I'm not even sure if I'm really gonna make this in a flash. I'm just testing how the 'public' responds to this idea of mine. But thx for the comment, at least I know you'd like to see it. :)

Thx, tho I can only repeat what I said to the previous person: so far I'm just testing if ppl like the whole concept, the production itself (if I'll ever start it) is pretty far away.

Heh, thx. :P I also think it's a pretty neat idea, definitely better than turning Sonic into some freaky werewolf or what the hell. Yeah, I think I'll give it a try sometime, tho it won't be easy to make it with sprites.
And yeah, I'm still working on Tails Pursuit of Vengeance (Tails POV for short)..well sorta..

I really feel that people shouldn't ask when is__________ coming out because something could delay you. People might blam your new flash and that probably just means it's no good but if you try hard it shouldn't get blammed if it does some of the people responsible just hate Sonic and that's wrong

You can make this a reality, just don't get lose sight of what's important and be a jerk and don't lose your self-confidence. Your better at this than you know so be strong and you do do good with flashes even if you don't really like making them you're good so don't let us down, O.K.

Heh, thx for your opinion, but next time you could gather your thoughts and post only 1 comment. XP Yeah, ppl really should stop asking when my movies will be coming out, coz I don't know and just coz they keep asking it it won't be ready sooner (unless they find a way to motivate me. :D). Tho I won't be rushing my movies either.
About the 3D game ideas, I don't think I can pull them off, those probably will never be more than just ideas. I would need some really kickass software and knowledge to program these 3D game conceptionss as I imagine them. I would need a good team or something to make this reality, coz I don't think this is a solo 'mission'. So I'll just keep to making flashes. (And perhaps learn to remix and make my own Sonic remixes.)
But thx anyway for the encouragement, I really need that nowadays. :)

It sounds interesting - though i'll agree with what you've said about SEGA, they should stick to what they had and stop trying to make new stuff up.
I'd enjoy the new idea, tbh, it's more creative than sega, and less corny too - the whole "transform into werewolf" thing burnt out when that 'teenwolf' series ended for god sake, and yes - i watched it, i was a kid damnit!

So yeah, after you've done what you've done, this could be your next project xD and if so, i (and i'm guessing many people) will eagerly await it.

Well the problem imo with SEGA is not that they're trying out new stuff, coz innovation is always needed to make every game unique and worth buying, but they're going the wrong way..I think they ran out of new ideas and try 'traditional' stuff like this werewolf thing, like time-traveling in 2006, and the corny story idea of Secret Rings. They think that just coz these had Sonic in them make them a Sonic game, but they're wrong, they just end up having games that have no connection to the Sonic franchise except the fact that Sonic is in them. With this they totally change the fanbase of the series, making imo pretty much hate it while others now like it, since it has like nothing to do with the original series.
Sry to bore you, I bet you totally didn't ask for my opinions about the recent Sonic...Well yeah, I try to come up with new stuff that might go well with Sonic, and this popped into my head one day (I originally wanted to use it up in my Tails series). We'll see if I can pull it off with sprites.
